Abstract
Frontispiece for Ambroise Pare's chirurgical works. Frontispiece includes a still life of surgical equipment in bottom central image (common spot also seen in other anatomical/surgical tracts). Tools include the pincer/shear hybrid used for passion iconography, bone nippers, shears and other related instruments.
